Served with red berries and mango coulis

Smoked Salmon and Crayfish Cocktail

Juicy crayfish and locally smoked salmon with mixed leaves and sun blushed tomatoes dressed with lemon, extra virgin olive oil and freshly ground black pepper

Baked Field Mushroom

Stuffed with goats cheese, garlic, fresh parsley and breadcrumbs set upon a bed of fresh basil pesto dressed rocket

Terrine de Campagne

Coarse pork and chicken liver terrine served with spiced apple chutney and dressed mixed leaves

Main Courses

All served with seasonal vegetables and potatoes of the day

Turkey Escalope

Stuffed with Cumberland sausage meat, wrapped in Richard Woodhall's dry cured pancetta and served with a red wine and mushroom pan jus

Cumbrian Pork Belly

Slowly roasted with rosemary, fennel seed, garlic and crushed black peppercorns with caramelised apple and complemented with a cabernet sauvignon reduction

Fillet of Cod

Served with a fresh wild rocket puree and a creamy wholegrain mustard mash

Mediterranean Tart

Crisp puff pastry with red onion, cherry tomato, sun blushed tomatoes and French goats cheese topped with fresh pesto dressed wild rocket and balsamic syrup

Loin of Venison

Marinaded in juniper and fresh thyme served on a bed of sweet and sour peppers

Desserts

Individual Christmas Pudding

Served with warm rum sauce

A Choice of Crème brulee

Vanilla or Chestnut

Served with cantuccini biscuit

Warm Dark Chocolate Pudding

Served with a white chocolate and amaretto sauce

Spiced Poached Pear

Poached in red wine and spices and served with

vanilla ice cream
